The virtual London Bridge Museum is coming soon.

We can be grateful to The Romans who arrived in 43 AD with the intention of founding a centre of commerce and trading. If it hadn't been for the crossing at London Bridge, the city of London that we know today would not exist. For almost 1,700 years the bridge stood alone, the sole crossing of our famous river.

The London Bridge Museum & Educational Trust is committed to creating a dedicated Museum as a worthy tribute to the world's most influential bridge. The Museum will tell the fascinating story of London Bridge's impact on London's social and economic development.

The online resource will bring the various incarnations of the bridge back to life, recreating in a 'virtual' space how life evolved through the ages and demonstrating the influence the crossing had over the development of London as a global heart of trade and finance.
